Madness Gaming Network (MGN) runs a PSP ad hoc relay server at psp.mgn.pub. It is cross-compatible: PPSSPP, real PSP and PS Vita players can all play together on it. Check who is online at psp.mgn.pub.

MGN uses PSP Relay, so read the PSP Relay guide too.

Set up PPSSPP

  1. Install or update to PPSSPP 1.20 or newer.
  2. Open Settings > Networking and turn on Enable networking/WLAN.
  3. Tap Ad hoc server address and pick Madness Gaming Network (psp.mgn.pub) from the list.
  4. Set Try to use server-provided packet relay to Auto.
  5. Turn off Enable UPnP under UPnP (port forwarding).
  6. Set Port offset to 10000.
  7. Start the game and use its ad hoc (local multiplayer) mode.

Real PSP and PS Vita

Real PSPs and PS Vitas join MGN with the aemu plugin, which supports relay mode. Point it at psp.mgn.pub with relay mode on.
