PSP Relay lets PSP ad hoc games play over the internet through a relay server, with no VPN or port forwarding. It needs PPSSPP 1.20 or newer. Real PSPs and PS Vitas can join the same relay with the aemu plugin.

Set up PPSSPP

  1. Install or update to PPSSPP 1.20 or newer.
  2. Open Settings > Networking and turn on Enable networking/WLAN.
  3. Tap Ad hoc server address and pick a relay server from the list, for example psp.mgn.pub (Madness Gaming Network), eahub.eu (EA Nation Hub) or psi-hate.com (Psi-Hate).
  4. Set Try to use server-provided packet relay to Auto.
  5. Turn off Enable UPnP under UPnP (port forwarding).
  6. Set Port offset to 10000.
  7. Start the game and use its ad hoc (local multiplayer) mode.

Tips

  • Everyone must use the same server, relay mode and port offset.
  • If you add a server by hand with Add server, tick Relay server mode.
  • Pick the server closest to all players for lower lag.
